Description
GD10PE – IR extended point Gas detector
GD10PE is the solution for ducts where conventional line detectors does not fit properly and standard point detectors are too slow. GD10PE is designed to meet the evolving safety norms for gas turbines, but is equally suited for HVAC and other applications where fast, low level and reliable detection is required.
Features
High sensitivity, fast response
GD10PE has both, and is still protected against false alarms.
Life-time stability
The SimSource infrared light source is a solid-state component with a stable output and 60years of expected lifteime. This, together with the Simrad Optonics IR-path design gives you a detector with unparallelled stability.
No poisioning or saturation
- Immune to silicon vapours, H2S and other widely used agents.
- High gas concentrations will not saturate the detector.
- Can be used to detect gases where oxygen is not present, e.g. in sub-sea production units
Low maintenance costs
GD10PE requires no regular field maintenance, apart from cleaning the optics. It has a fixed factory calibration, and is not recalibrated during its lifetime.
SAFE
Application
Offshore platforms
Protection of all kinds of air intakes (HVAC)
Chemical industry
High sensitivity gas monitoring
Gas turbines
Monitoring of ventilation air
